When I got home this morning after the school run, I started to think about my goals for the rest of the year.
I started to think about how far I've come this year, but also how much further I want to go. As I sat on the sofa thinking about how much time I now have every day to achieve those goals, I'm reminded of everything I've already achieved and how, actually, I've already achieved my biggest goal!
Ever since my daughter was born 4 years ago, all I wanted was to be able to stay at home with her, be there to take her to school and pick her up, but also to still have a source of income.
4 years ago I was sure I'd have to go back to work, or at least get a part time job doing something I probably didn't want to do, just so I could pay my bills. I'm definitely glad now that I was wrong!
I'll be the first to admit that I struggled in my business for the first 6 or 7 months, but looking back now and realising that I've already achieved my biggest goal, it was all worth it.
It feels so amazing to know that I've achieved what I set out to do and that my goals have shifted from getting to a position to stay at home, to taking over paying all the bills from my husband, so that he can focus on his business and change it into something he truly loves doing, not just something that pays the bills.
One thing that has made the biggest difference in my business is without a doubt my Facebook group. I love the community I've built here and I love the energy in this group.
I also love that creating a Facebook group gave me a central place to connect with other female entrepreneurs online, not to mention having a place where my ideal clients could find me and where I could easily share the value I had to give.
Not only that but having a FB group has made sales easier.
Because I know what my ideal client wants and what they're struggling with as I've had the opportunity to talk with them about it via my FB group.
That means less objections on sales calls, more sales just from posting on Facebook and testimonials from members that make it easier again to make sales.
When I started my FB group, I didn't realise the impact it would have on my business and I know that for a lot of you, you're wondering what else you can do in your business to start seeing results.
You've tried countless strategies to be seen online, to get more calls in your calendar, to grow your email list and none of it is having the impact that you wanted.
You just want clients, you just want to be seen, you just want to do the work you're meant to do and help to change people's lives.
That's why I created From Crickets To Clients. I've spent just over a year growing my Facebook group and I know that by sharing my strategies with you, you can grow an engaged Facebook group that converts members to paying clients and makes bank, much quicker than I did.
I know what it takes to run a successful community, I know the best ways to advertise the group for free and I know how to leverage a FB group to grow your bank account.
